Talent

When I was a kid I wanted to be a professional football player. That was my dream. The NFL was going to be my work place. I would have made it to if i were bigger, taller, stronger, and faster! Everything I wasnt is what I needed to be. Have you ever thought about what your talent might be? If you believe the Bible you know we are born with things that God has put in you way back when you were in your mama's tummy! My talent was not pro athlete at all. I have been through a few courses to help me identify what God has given me to use to help build His kingdom and strengthen His Church. To be honest I am not sure EXACTLY what mine is specifically? However I do know it has something to with my BIG MOUTH! A BIG MOUTH would have come in handy as a star in the NFL but I didnt have the other tools to even half way make it there. In High School out of all the foolishness I got myself into I would write constantly about how I felt and social issues and the only positive thing I did was placed in the "Woman's Day Poetry Contest." The only reason I got in it was for extra credit that I needed to make a C and not a D in English. I forget the details but I ended up beating out people that made way better grades than me and were much smarter in my mind. I had to go get dressed up and read to some people and I forgot what happened after that, but I won something and placed in my age group? Well I can also tell you that my BIG MOUTH has got me beat up, cursed out, made lots of people cry,made people laugh, and take the star football players girlfriends...lol!!! God does not intend for us to use our talents for ourselves. He wants us to build up the people around us and point people to Him. If you are are like me and still trying to pin point what you are suppose to do with your talent think of these things, what do I find easy to do, what do others do and you look at them and think"thats not hard, why cant they get that right?" and what do you do that others wish they could do? Facebook has been a blessing and a curse for me at the same time. I have made enemys and friends but I love both. You talk as much I do you need to learn to like what your feet taste like because I stick my foot in my mouth ALLLLL the time. Most of the time that is me ALLLL me not God. Love others with your talent not yourselves, have a great day people.
