Waiting on God

Last week my wife and I were informed by the Loan Specialist of Wells Fargo that our loan was suspended due to an extremely negative report from the Appraiser. We then contacted the seller of the property and suggested that we would reapply for the loan upon her repairs to the house. Her response was 'ABSOLUTELY NOT!' And so we remain where we are, for now, and that's fine. You know it's not hard to see God in our lives if we just look. It's not hard to see His hand at work even when doors are closed and then SLAMMED on you, even as it was for us. And if you're prepared to submit to that reality of experience you'll have a quiet reservation in all related matters knowing full well that God has something even better! It's believing His promises and WAITING ON THE LORD! Now, as you do this don't JUDGE anything before it's time, especially apparent failures and setbacks. You really don't know what the Lord is doing until IT'S DONE and in the meantime you can be sure that whatever He's doing is motivated by His great love and Grace.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
