Cute AND Dangerous!

Check out this crazy story:

A drunk man gets the liquid courage to pet a giant panda so he goes to the local zoo to make his dream come true.

Man sees panda, thinks panda is sooo cute, and despite the physical barrier of the animal's enclosure, the warning signs to not touch the animal, and his inebriated condition, the man actually makes it to the panda.

Wow, no one can ever say that he isn't a determined fella!

Too bad that the giant panda was not in agreement with what panda-boy was trying to do. To make a long story short, the man startles the panda, gets bit and ends up in the hospital. OUCH- How 'bout that for a hangover?!

Have you ever been in a situation like panda-boy? No, I don't mean with a panda. What I mean is this-

In our sober minds, we know that there is a distinctive line between acceptable behavior and unacceptable behavior. But in certain situations, we sometimes rationalize and confuse the line between the two. This blurring of the lines can cause us to cross barriers, ignore warning signs, and give in to certain temptations that will, in the end, lead to certain disaster.

If you find yourself in a position where you see that the lines are getting blurred, it's time to take evasive action and see your way out of that situation. Don't stay or dilly dally, because if you do, you might just end up getting bit.

Just like panda-boy.

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." James 1:12

Good post. We need to think about where our actions will take us.
