A Snippet of Humor

I found this little snippet of humor and would like to pass it along to you for your entertainment but more than that really, for your edification.

A fire-and-brimstone cleric visiting a country church began his sermon with the stirring reminder, “Everybody in this parish is going to die.” He was discomforted to notice a man in the front pew grinning broadly. “Why are you so amused?” he asked. “I’m not in this parish,” replied the man. “I’m just visiting my sister for the weekend.” (Roger Delahunty in The Reader's Digest, ©.)
